Bucksport Regional Health Center to hold Spring Health Fair

We are holding our Spring Health Fair, Saturday, May 31, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at 110 Broadway, Bucksport. There will be many activities, vendors, giveaways, and lots of fun for the kids!

We are also doing a Drug Take-Back with the Bucksport Police Department. This is the time to go through your medicine cabinet and grab all of your expired, or no longer needed, medications and dispose of them properly.

We are offering screenings for all, including blood pressure and glucose checks, important information about tick safety as we head into summer, and boating safety with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. We are also offering information on internet safety because you just can’t be too careful these days.

Our new pharmacist will be on hand to meet and greet. The BRHC Coastal Pharmacy is a new service for patients, located at our Bucksport office.

For the Kids!

  • We have Darling’s Ice Cream Truck to get the Spring celebration started off right. Ice cream treats are by donation.
  • There is a Bike Rodeo with the Maine Bicycle Coalition so bring your child’s bike if you want to participate. They’re also offering bike safety information.
  • The K9 pup from the Bucksport PD will be available for some well deserve pats.
  • Enjoy Storytime with the Bucksport Memorial Library.
  • Grow with Us! Children can learn about gardening by planting a seedling.

Watch our Facebook page for more detailed information as it becomes available. If you don’t follow us on Facebook, now is the time.
